Moonglow Entertainment is in constant search of new ideas and concepts to keep the audiences excited and amazed. Twice a year we make a huge effort in designing a whole new creative idea for the new season. This spring Moonglow presents something more elaborate than ever, in the fine-detailed romantic style of Art Nouveau.
On May 18th Moonglow’s spring and summer season show will be again in full bloom on stage of INCEPTION! Don’t miss this chance to see the big cabaret show, with all four celestial vedettes!
The story of the show is set back in the beginning of the 20th century, around 1910s, at a mansion with a beautiful park. A young lady discovers a passage way to an enchanted garden and wanders deeper into the flower maze to explore. Step by step she discovers one enchanted garden leading to another, each place is magical in its own way, with nymphs and goddesses leading her way to the heart of the garden – the legendary fountain of youth. Whether she finds it and what happens then, we leave to the audience for find out. Using music and poetry, we will lead the audience through this allegoric journey of a young woman discovering herself and finding the key to her own feminine nature, being caged away deep inside her by the social constructs and moral stereotypes.
During the show each vedette will play a celestial guardian of the enchanted part explored by the main character, Clementine. Each goddess gives her a lesson of beauty and grace, along with a magical token and the clue to find the next secret passage in the garden maze.
In a secluded rosary Clementine meets the goddess of youth and beauty, accompanied by butterfly fairies and surrounded by gentle fragrance of flowers.
This season we introduce a new vedette as the Flower Fairy – Miss Layla Kali! Accompanied by two pixies with butterfly wings, she spreads colourful petals and fragrance of roses, as she swings her alluring blooming curves, celebrating short-lasting beauty and playful innocence of youth.
The maze leads Clementine to an opening with a beautiful pond and water nymphs dancing to praise the Water Spirit, lady of the deep, who’s dance flows with elegance of a forest stream.
The most experienced Chinese Burlesque dancer in Beijing, Miss Liwa la Fleur took on the challenge of delivering a real jaw-dropping traditional Chinese dance of the “water sleeves” as the Water Spirit! Accompanied by the fragile water nymphs with sheer veils made of waves and moonlight, she will lure men into the deep water of the forest pond, under the water lilies blooming like reflections of stars..
Among other encounters, this whimsical crew dazzles Clementine with their wicked dance of pleasure, lead by the Maenad, the wine priestess.
During this set, we return to the Ancient Greece, into the Maenad’s grove on top of the sacred hill, where Bacchantes once dance moved in their wild ritual dances to praise the god of wine Dionysus. Miss Argenta Luna, as the high priestess of Bacchus (or maybe the god himself?) is loosing herself in the dance of pleasure, accompanied by a nymph and a satyr in their wicked uncontrolled gallop.
Wind chimes and lanterns lead Clementine to the Oriental garden, with red blossoms and exotic sounds of Asian strings. The Phoenix shows her the fire of passion, and the danger of uncontrolled flames.
The inspiration for this set is drawn from the legend of the Phoenix, reborn from flames. When the fire is tamed, it can light the way as a lantern or warm your body with gentle touch. Nymphs with red lanterns show Clementine a path to Phoenix, dancing with flames and red feathers – a fusion Chinese dance act by Miss Scarlet Manhattan.
故事主人公将由剧团创意总监Trixie Royale主持。服装风格设定在20世纪10年代（爱德华时代服装风格）。The show will be hosted by the director of the troupe herself, miss Trixie Royale. The costume is a recreation of an Edwardian era outfit, typical for the women’s fashion of 1910s.
In the final set of the show, Clementine will bathe in the Fountain of Youth and join the celestial guardians as one of them.
